Book Dream Cast
Because I’m a visual person, I often see the characters in my mind’s eye as I write them. So they’re a 3-D version of what I get down in the manuscript.
While I didn’t have these actors and actresses in mind while I was writing the story, I think they would be perfect in the roles of the characters featured in the book.
The hero, Rafferty would be played by Chris Pine. I chose him because of the bachelor type characters he often plays in the movies of his that I’ve seen. Well, he’s a bachelor except for his role in the movie Unstoppable. He played a married guy in that one. Great movie, by the way.
The heroine would be played by Reese Witherspoon. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her star in a movie that I didn’t like. If you haven’t seen her in Penelope yet, you need to. Her part isn’t the main one in the movie, but her character was so kind to Penelope. She was fantastic in Sweet Home Alabama.
By the way, the ones I chose for my hero and heroine, Chris and Reese starred together in the movie This Means War and if you haven’t seen that, it’s fantastic. Loved the ongoing one-upmanship between Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
Rafferty’s brother, Lincoln, would be played by Chris Hemsworth.
Grayson would be played by Chris Evans. I can picture all three of the Chris’s as brothers. I think they have a lot of similarities.
The brothers good friend Kent would be played by Ryan Reynolds.
Rafferty’s sister Casey would be played by Lily Collins.
Harper’s friend Ivy would be played by Dania Ramirez.
Grandma Jean would be played by the amazing Betty White. Her character in The Proposal was so quirky and laugh out loud funny!
