REVIEW: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

 RELEASED : September 29, 2015
Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price--and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can't pull it off alone...
A convict with a thirst for revenge.
A sharpshooter who can't walk away from a wager.
A runaway with a privileged past.
A spy known as the Wraith.
A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.
A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.
Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz's crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction―if they don't kill each other first.

Well its finally that time that I bust out my Six of Crows review!

Okay yeah, so I’ve been holding off on this until Crooked Kingdom got a little closer to release date, and what do you know? It’s just around the corner! LITERALLY IT IS THIS WEEK!!

AHHHH I’M JUST SO EXCITED!

Alright but first things first. Have to get Six of Crows reviewed. Now for those out of the loop, Six of Crows is written by Leigh Bardugo *kweeeeen*

She is best known for her incredible Grishaverse and Shadow and Bone series. I highly recommend anything with her name on it, she’s that phenomenal of a writer.

I would best describe Six of Crows as an amazingly diverse and darker Ocean’s Eleven but with magic and better chemistry.

Bardugo has a way of creating these characters that just stay in your mind forever and holy shit the shipping rate is overnight. Tell me you didn’t IMMEDIATELY fall all over Kaz and Inej?! I fucking DARE YOU! My heart swelled over them and ISTG Crooked Kingdom better keep me rolling in my feels.

Next on the shipping block are Nina, a heartrender (helllllo grishaverse) and Mathias, her sworn enemy. Lovely right? We all know that thin line though and these two are intense. Shit is real when you save a man from certain death and he tries to choke you out because it was just a weee bit your fault in the first place.

Lastly, my sweet tingly feelings for Jesper and Wylan. Rough and tough and the boy with the brains.
I love that Leigh brought in all love and race into this book. Magical characters and action packed plot with one hell of a cliffhanger.

There is something I'm forgetting...

I'M GOING TO THE CROOKED KINGDOM LAUNCH WITH LEIGH BARDUGO AT THE STRAND IN NYC TOMORROW!!!!

EEEEPPP!!!
